The TP200 (TrakAllâ¢) tone probe is a hand-held, battery powered device that allows users to trace voice, data, and video cables and detect cable faults. It includes an integrated, detachable generator and a tracer with a replaceable probe tip.
The TP200 has two main parts: the Tracer and the Generator. The Tracer has a replaceable probe tip, a power button, and a volume control bar. The generator can be easily detached from the tracer to identify cables over a distance. The generator has one RJ jack for testing voice cables through a direct connection and identifying video and data cables through the use of an adapter. The generator button turns the generator on, indicates tracing activity, and allows the adjusting of tone styles.
