The MX12 is a 760 channel communication transceiver and a 200 channel navigation receiver that provides VOR/LOC signals to navigational converters. The NAV receiver provides frequency selection for remote mount glide slope receivers. The MX12 is a direct replacement for the NARCO MK12A NAV/COMM receiver and is electrically interchangeable with that unit; it fits the existing tray and is equipped with connectors that interface with existing OEM connectors. A jumper cable is provided to make the proper interconnect for speaker, microphone, and power. An optional cable is available if a glide slope interface is required.
